Sidus Space Completes Bus-Level Commissioning of LizzieSat-3 Spacecraft

DEFENSE

Sidus Space has successfully completed the bus-level commissioning of its LizzieSat-3 (LS-3) spacecraft. Following its deployment earlier this year, LS-3 has passed all post-launch evaluations, activated critical subsystems, and integrated CUS-GNC's SpacePilot software for autonomous navigation and orbital maneuvers.

The company is now advancing to payload commissioning, supporting multiple customer payloads while implementing upgrades and enhancements. The integration of autonomous guidance and navigation software improves pointing accuracy to under 30 arcseconds, addressing stringent defense and space requirements.

LS-3 builds upon the achievements of previous satellites, enhancing performance, autonomy, and operational resiliency. Sidus plans to launch additional satellites in the LizzieSat constellation by late 2026 to expand service offerings and meet growing demand for space-based data solutions.
