SJVN Issues RfS for 2,000 MW Pumped Storage Projects in India
SJVN has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) to develop 2,000 MW of pumped storage capacity in India, featuring an 8-hour discharge and a maximum of 5 hours continuous discharge. The RfS outlines requirements for technical, financial, and compliance aspects under a tariff-based competitive bidding framework.
The tender involves a two-envelope e-bidding process, with an RfS document priced at INR 29,500 and a bid processing fee of INR 15 lakh plus GST per project. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is INR 11.10 lakh per MW, capped at INR 25 crore.
A pre-bid meeting will occur on December 22, with e-submissions due by January 27 and physical submissions by January 30. Bidders must have experience in infrastructure projects with capital expenditures of at least INR 5.55 crore per MW and meet net worth and liquidity criteria. Key statutory clearances are also required at bid submission.
