Skyeton Prevail Plans Further UK Demonstrations of Raybird UAV Following Successful Iron Titan Exercise

DEFENSE

Skyeton Prevail Solutions, a joint venture between the UK and Ukraine, plans additional demonstrations of its Raybird UAV after its participation in the British Army's Iron Titan exercise on Salisbury Plain. The exercise, involving over 8,000 troops, was the army's largest land exercise in 20 years.

The 23kg Raybird operated for five days, achieving a 10km range and successfully identifying high-priority targets. More flight operations are scheduled for the first half of 2026 to support British Army training and other Ministry of Defence requirements.

Skyeton Prevail will offer a variety of payloads starting early next year, including electronic intelligence sensors and munitions. The company is also involved in the Corvus project, aiming to replace the Thales Watchkeeper UAV, with a contract potentially awarded by 1 May 2026. If successful, Skyeton Prevail plans to establish a production facility in Plymouth.
