Slovakia is testing its first CV9035 MkIV infantry fighting vehicles as part of a €1.3 billion contract for 152 units, aimed at modernizing its military and aligning with NATO standards. The program, involving over 30 Slovak companies contributing more than 40% of the contract value, underscores a commitment to enhancing local supply chains and operational capabilities. The CV9035 MkIV, equipped with advanced features like a 35 mm cannon and active protection systems, is expected to be delivered starting in 2026.
