Socarenam Delivers Eight EDA-S to French Navy for Amphibious Operations

Socarenam has delivered eight EDA-S amphibious landing craft to the French Navy, part of a program initiated in December 2018, with the first prototypes received in 2022. The delivery plan, originally for 14 units, has faced delays, with additional units scheduled for completion by 2029. The EDA-S craft, measuring 28.8 meters long and capable of carrying 65 tons, offer enhanced speed and maneuverability compared to the older CTM models.
