Solarig to Invest $415 Million in Biomethane Plants in Poland
NATURAL GASBIOFUELS
Solarig will invest over 1.5 billion zloty ($415 million) to establish and operate more than 20 biomethane plants in Poland within the next five years. The investment will be executed through its biomethane subsidiary, Biorig.
The plants will collectively generate 1 terawatt hour of gas annually, sufficient to meet the needs of 400,000 households. Poland, with 1.3 million farms, presents significant potential for biomethane production, supported by upcoming financial auction systems for producers. Solarig's strategy includes acquiring ready-to-build projects and developing new facilities across seven regions in Poland.
