SoundThinking Inc. has launched its Alert Review Center (ARC) in downtown Orlando, Florida, to enhance real-time weapons detection capabilities at high-traffic venues across the U.S. The ARC will support the SafePointe concealed weapons detection system, which utilizes metal bollards with sensors and 3D imaging technology for discreet weapon screening.

The system enables trained reviewers at the Orlando center to analyze video footage when a potential weapon is detected. Approximately 30 employees have been hired to staff the facility continuously. SoundThinking's technology is primarily deployed in Florida, California, and Texas, and the new center is intended to solidify the company's presence in Central Florida and facilitate future expansion.
