Spire Global Inc. has appointed Admiral Christopher W. Grady (Ret.) and Edward J. Newberry to its advisory board to bolster its national security and policy advisory capabilities as it expands into government services.

Admiral Grady, a former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, brings extensive military leadership experience, which will support Spire's efforts in utilizing satellite data for defense operations. The company has been involved in the Missile Defense Agency's SHIELD IDIQ Contract and offers services such as weather intelligence and movement tracking.
