On February 11, 2026, the Swiss Federal Council approved an aid package of up to CHF 32 million to support Ukraine during its energy crisis. Swiss companies will supply high-performance generators and electricity modules to enable immediate electricity generation in affected areas. The aid will focus on procuring 18 natural gas-powered modules and up to 80 diesel generators, with coordination managed by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
