The Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT) has partnered with Germany's XeedQ GmbH to launch quantum computing initiatives, providing students and startups with access to real quantum hardware. Announced at the Umagine 2026 tech conference, the collaboration will initially offer remote access to a 4-qubit quantum computer, with plans for Tamil Nadu to host a physical quantum computer in the future.
