Tawazun Signs $643 Million in Defense Contracts at UMEX and Simtex 2026

DEFENSE

Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement has signed contracts totaling $643 million on behalf of the UAE Ministry of Defence at UMEX and Simtex 2026. The agreements include eight deals, primarily with Edge Group for vehicle and drone development, as well as a $7.6 million contract with Houbara Defence for EOD vehicles. Additional announcements are anticipated on the final day of the event.
