Teknei plans to initiate two projects in Euskadi, one in Bilbao focused on financial services and the European digital identity framework, expecting to generate over 500 jobs. The second project in San Sebastián will specialize in Artificial Intelligence and quantum computing, aiming to hire 660 professionals within three years.

Currently, Teknei has a revenue of approximately 150 million euros and employs 2,500 people. Founded in Mexico in 2010, Teknei expanded to Euskadi by relocating its European headquarters to Bilbao in 2019.

Significant acquisitions include Odei in 2019 and Key Technical in 2023. The recent acquisition of Indra's business services division for 96.6 million euros will integrate nearly 5,000 workers across Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Latin America, with revenue projections exceeding 300 million euros next year and a goal of reaching 1 billion euros by 2030.
