The Texas Railroad Commission is conducting winter weatherization inspections of critical natural gas facilities to ensure supply adequacy for winter 2025. In FY25, over 7,400 inspections were completed, and the FY26 schedule includes inspections of all Tier One facilities, which produce over 5 million cubic feet of gas daily. As of November 30, 2025, Texas has reported its highest underground natural gas storage levels in 25 years, with inspections continuing through March 2026.
