Timber Creek High School to Test Evolv eXpedite and OPENGATE Weapons Detection Systems

Timber Creek High School in Orange County, Florida, will test the Evolv eXpedite and OPENGATE weapons detection systems as part of a district initiative to enhance school safety, following a previous pilot program that ended in 2024. The testing aims to evaluate the systems' effectiveness in real-world conditions. Additionally, the Marion County School Board has approved a $400,000 purchase of 19 OPENGATE units for its schools.
