TKMS Pursues Major Submarine Contract in Canada and New Frigates for Germany

TKMS is pursuing a multi-billion dollar contract to supply up to twelve modern submarines to the Canadian Navy, negotiating an economic package with partners in Norway and Germany. Additionally, the German Bundeswehr plans to acquire at least three MEKO A-200 frigates, with 7.8 billion euros allocated for procurement. The company, which recently joined the MDAX, controls approximately 70% of NATO's conventional submarine fleet, enhancing its competitive position in future projects.
