Türkiye plans to triple Altay tank deliveries to 30 units in 2026, as part of a broader defense modernization agenda. The Altay program, established under a 2018 contract with BMC, aims to produce 250 tanks in two phases.

The first phase includes 85 T1 tanks, with 10 scheduled for delivery in 2026. Additional defense projects include the Kizilelma drone and Kaan fighter jet, among others, enhancing Türkiye's military capabilities.
