Trump Nominates Lt. Gen. James Adams III as Director of Defense Intelligence Agency

President Donald Trump has nominated Lt. Gen. James Adams III to serve as the next director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, with the nomination confirmed by the Department of War.
If approved, Adams will advise the secretary of war and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, bringing extensive experience from his previous role as deputy commandant for programs and resources at the U.S. Marine Corps. A Naval Academy graduate, he has logged over 3,300 flight hours as a naval aviator.
