TrustPoint and Safran Advance LEO PNT Integration with New Demonstrations and Partnerships

DEFENSE

The integration of Safran's Synchrocube and TrustPoint's systems in low-Earth orbit (LEO) has progressed from tests to in-orbit demonstrations. TrustPoint launched its third LEO craft, Time Flies, in June 2025, enhancing C-band payload capacity and forming agreements with U.S. avionics and Navy teams for operational trials.

Safran's Synchrocube, operating on the Pandore satellite, complements U.S. LEO tests, contributing to a global testing ecosystem for compatibility and performance baselines. Xona's Pulsar program recorded its first authenticated pseudorange measurements in June 2025, which have been adopted by receiver labs in the U.S. and Europe.

Safran's Skydel simulator now can emulate multiple LEO signals, enabling integrated testing across Atlantic partners. European firm Septentrio is advancing joint testing with Xona to validate performance. These developments indicate a coordinated push towards sovereign LEO-PNT capabilities and operational services by 2026.
