Turkey's Kaan fighter prototype, P1, has been postponed for its inaugural flight until June 2024, as announced by Turkish Aerospace Industries CEO Mehmet Demiroglu. Six prototypes are planned, with the initial P0 model undergoing ground testing, while the aircraft will initially utilize General Electric F110 engines before transitioning to the indigenous TF35000 in the 2030s.
