Turkey is exporting a full-mission flight simulator for the Hürjet jet trainer to Spain, enhancing defense ties. The Turkish contractor HAVELSAN has developed the simulator to aid pilot training as Spain modernizes its air force.

This follows Spain's €2.6 billion contract for 30 Hürjet aircraft, marking Turkey's first major export success for the platform. The simulator is set for delivery in late 2026, with the Hürjet scheduled to enter service in Turkey in 2027 and in Spain in 2028.
