Turkmenistan Exceeds 2025 Energy Production Targets with 76.5 Bcm Gas and 8.3 Mt Oil

In 2025, Turkmenistan produced over 76.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 8.3 million tonnes of crude oil, surpassing production targets. The oil refining plan was exceeded by 108.8%, with significant growth in petroleum bitumen and LPG.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized modernization, including refinery upgrades and the TAPI pipeline. There was a leadership reshuffle in the oil and gas sector, appointing Guvanch Agadjanov as Deputy Chairman overseeing the sector.
