Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, led a delegation to the Democratic Republic of Congo for the UAE-DRC Trade and Investment Day, focusing on enhancing economic collaboration in mining, solar energy, and agriculture.

During the visit, 16 Memorandums of Understanding were signed with local officials, including Governor Fifi Masuka Saini. The UAE's non-oil trade with the DRC reached US$2.1 billion in early 2025, reflecting a 19.2% increase, while the UAE has invested over US$110 billion in Africa since 2019.
