During UMEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi, the UAE military awarded contracts totaling AED 1.4 billion ($403 million) to local defense companies, with AED 1.396 billion ($380 million) allocated to EDGE Group for Anavia HT-750 drones. Additional contracts included funding for UAV research and development, and the conversion of Nimr vehicles into unmanned ground vehicles. EDGE's total contracts from the exhibition reached approximately $635 million, while Houbara Defense received AED 28 million for explosive ordnance disposal vehicles.
