Uber has launched Uber Air, enabling users to book Joby's electric air taxis through the Uber app in Dubai, with passenger flights expected to start later this year. Joby’s aircraft can carry four passengers, reach speeds of 200 mph, and travel up to 100 miles on a single charge.

Following the announcement, Joby’s shares increased by 6.5% in premarket trading. The partnership, which began in 2019, is expanding to other markets including New York, Los Angeles, the UK, and Japan.
