Ukraine has launched two new gas import routes under the Vertical Corridor initiative, but initial auctions for these routes, aimed at enhancing gas supply from Greece and Azerbaijan, saw no bookings due to insufficient preparation time. Route 2 will transport LNG from Greece through Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova, while Route 3 will facilitate Azerbaijani gas imports. Additionally, the auction for the existing Route 1 also failed to secure any reservations despite a capacity offering.
