Ukraine to Implement Triple Pay and Flexible Contracts for Armed Forces Starting 2026

Starting in 2026, Ukraine's Armed Forces will implement new contracts that offer service members, including mobilized personnel, triple pay and flexible terms, as announced by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. The contracts will range from 1 to 5 years initially, with options extending up to 10 years, and discharged service members will receive a 12-month deferment from conscription. The initiative, overseen by the Ministry of Defense and the president, aims to enhance military service conditions and is set to launch in the first quarter of 2026.
