Ukraine to Receive LNG Shipment via Klaipeda Terminal for the First Time
NATURAL GAS
Ukraine will receive its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipment through the Klaipeda terminal in Lithuania. In collaboration with Ignitis Group, 90 million cubic meters of gas will be supplied between February and March.
Naftogaz will manage the delivery. The opening of this route diversifies Ukraine's gas supply amid ongoing conflict and Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. The Lithuanian energy minister noted the terminal's significant role in enhancing energy security for Ukrainian partners.
