Ukraine's Interceptor Drones Down 30% of Russian Aerial Threats
DEFENSE
Ukrainian interceptor drones are responsible for 30% of the downed Russian aerial threats, according to military officials. As of December 2025, Ukraine is producing nearly 1,000 drones per day to counter thousands of Russian long-range drone attacks.
These drones can destroy threats by ramming or using explosives, and they have evolved significantly since their introduction in 2022. The integration of AI in Russian drones poses additional challenges for Ukraine's defense.
