Ukrainian Air Force Reports Upgraded Shahed Drones with MANPADS and Increased Payload

The Ukrainian Air Force has reported that Russian Shahed drones have been upgraded to include MANPADS and can now carry combat payloads of up to 90 kilograms. These modifications, which also incorporate advanced communication technologies and electronic warfare countermeasures, significantly enhance the threat to Ukrainian aircraft, prompting increased monitoring by Ukrainian intelligence. Recently, Ukrainian forces intercepted a drone equipped with a portable anti-aircraft missile system, allowing it to operate from Russian territory.
