Ukrainian banks have formed a consortium to secure a record loan agreement of UAH 21.5 billion aimed at supporting the defense-industrial complex, backed by a state guarantee and financed by six banks over three years. The National Bank of Ukraine highlighted the significance of this agreement for risk-sharing and stable financing in the defense sector, which is a national priority. This follows a previous collaboration in which the banking sector raised UAH 33.5 billion for energy restoration projects.
