Ultra Maritime UK has expanded its sonobuoy production at a new £20 million facility in Greenford, London, aimed at enhancing anti-submarine warfare capabilities for the UK Ministry of Defence. The site, which began operations in mid-2025, will manufacture various sonobuoy variants for the Royal Navy and pursue Project Nodens to localize production for the Royal Air Force's P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The company anticipates significant turnover growth from £150 million in 2024 to £250 million by 2030, with a substantial portion expected from exports.
