The University of Salerno is set to launch Quantum Valley with the installation of a €47 million quantum computer, Quantum System Two, featuring an IBM Heron processor, by summer. This initiative, announced by Professor Canio Noce, will be the first of its kind in a public European institution and aims to address complex problems rapidly, while also establishing a training program to enhance technological expertise and job creation in the region.
