The University of Naples Federico II has launched the Quantum Internet Testbed, an open lab aimed at developing quantum internet solutions and supporting the interconnection of quantum computers. Led by Professors Angela Sara Cacciapuoti and Marcello Caleffi, the initiative is funded by PNRR and focuses on technologies for industrial environments, promoting multi-vendor integration. The project was presented at a workshop attended by key stakeholders, including Deputy Minister for Innovation Alessio Butti, who highlighted the importance of collaboration between scientists and industry.
