UPDF Appeals to Mufti of Uganda for Peace Ahead of National Elections

The Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces (UPDF) has appealed to the Mufti of Uganda, Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, to encourage Muslim clerics and followers to promote peace ahead of the national elections.
During a visit to the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, Maj. Gen. Henry Masiko emphasized the army's commitment to professionalism and stability, while the Mufti highlighted ongoing efforts to foster harmony within the Muslim community.
