Uplift360, a startup specializing in carbon fibre recycling, has raised €7.4 million to commercialize its innovative method of repurposing composite waste. The funding, sourced from Extantia, NATO Innovation Fund, Promus Ventures, and Fund F, will support the establishment of a pilot production facility in Bristol. Uplift360's process extracts carbon fibre from old helicopter wings, enabling the production of new drone arms and other industrial applications while addressing challenges in waste disposal and material costs.
