The US Air Force is collaborating with Stanford University to evaluate an AI copilot aimed at reducing pilot workload during critical situations. Developed by Stanford's Intelligent Systems Laboratory, the software provides quick access to relevant information via an iPad interface, and testing has involved simulations and real flights with 24 Air Force test pilot students.
