US Air Force Designates Leidos' Small Cruise Missile as AGM-190A

The US Air Force has designated the Leidos Small Cruise Missile (SCM), known as AGM-190A or Black Arrow, as an operational stand-off strike capability. Weighing 200 pounds, the AGM-190A is equipped with modular hardware and open-system software for adaptability.
It is powered by a Pratt & Whitney turbojet engine, achieving speeds of Mach 0.8 and a service ceiling of 30,000 feet. Development began in 2021, with test flights showing a range exceeding 400 nautical miles. This designation highlights Leidos' role in providing affordable strike solutions.
