U.S. Air Force Seeks Contractors for International Pilot Training Program

The U.S. Air Force's Air Education and Training Command (AETC) is seeking contractors to train foreign pilots. This effort follows a partnership with academic institutions to test a new Initial Pilot Training model.

A Request for Information (RFI) has been released to identify sources for training services related to commercial and demilitarized aircraft. AFSAT oversees training for over 9,000 students from more than 142 nations, with a portfolio valued at $10.2 billion. The training encompasses cargo handling, passenger transport, and navigation, focusing on various aircraft types.
