The US Air Force received its first Boeing-Saab T-7A Red Hawk trainer jet on January 9, marking a shift to a digital cockpit. A total of 14 T-7A aircraft will be delivered to Air Education and Training Command, with initial operating capability expected by September 2027 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. The T-7A is being introduced to replace the aging Northrop T-38 Talon, which has been in service for over 60 years.
