U.S. Army Activates Futures and Concepts Command at Fort Eustis, Virginia
DEFENSE
The U.S. Army activated its Futures and Concepts Command (FCC) on February 2, 2026, at Fort Eustis, Virginia. This transition to full command status enhances the organization's role in force design and modernization efforts.
FCC is responsible for shaping the future structure and capabilities of the Army. The activation follows a reorganization in 2025, merging modernization and training under the Transformation and Training Command (T2COM). The new command status provides FCC with greater resources and authority.
