U.S. Army Seeks Industry Input for M225A1 Mortar and UH-60M Black Hawk Upgrades

The U.S. Army is conducting market research for the potential production of M225A1 mortar firing mechanisms and upgrading UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters. A Sources Sought Notice was published on February 20, 2026, for 60mm mortar components, with an estimated requirement of 55 units per year.
Concurrently, the Army plans to modernize 12 to 24 UH-60M helicopters annually, focusing on industrial capacity and sustainment. Responses for both initiatives are due by March 9, 2026.
