The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $235 million contract to Sabena Aerospace Engineering for the maintenance of F-16 fighter jets, including those supplied to Ukraine. The contract encompasses aircraft and engine maintenance as well as logistics support, to be conducted at Sabena's facility in Belgium, with completion expected by January 28, 2029.

Additionally, the U.S. State Department recently approved a potential $310 million sale of training and technical equipment for F-16 jets to Ukraine.
