US Department of the Interior Suspends Ørsted's Revolution Wind and Sunrise Wind Projects for 90 Days

DEFENSE

The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has ordered Revolution Wind LLC and Sunrise Wind LLC to suspend activities on the outer continental shelf for 90 days. Both projects, which are in advanced construction and expected to deliver power in 2026, are complying with the order while ensuring health, safety, and environmental protections. Collectively, they will provide significant energy to several states, powering around 1 million homes.
