US Ambassador Leah Campos visited AES Dominicana to acknowledge over $2.4 billion in US energy investment in the Dominican Republic. During her visit to AES Andrés, she learned about the company's infrastructure projects and the strategic importance of natural gas imports.

AES Dominicana, in partnership with ENADOM, supplies natural gas to seven generation units, providing 1,800 megawatts of reliable energy. The company is the largest importer of US natural gas in the region, with imports reaching 4 million cubic meters in 2025.
