The U.S. Navy has awarded Sikorsky Aircraft a $21.6 million contract for transient engine torque testing and certification for the VH-92A Patriot fleet, ensuring compliance with operational requirements as the aircraft prepares for full service.
This work, managed by Naval Air Systems Command, will be conducted at multiple U.S. locations and is expected to be completed by July 2027. The order follows a previous $113.5 million contract modification for long-term support of the VH-92A, which is set to replace older executive transport helicopters.
