US Navy Plans Acquisition of JaiaBot Micro-Uncrewed Underwater Vehicles for ISR Missions

DEFENSE

The US Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is researching potential resellers of JaiaBot micro-uncrewed underwater vehicles (UUVs) and multivehicle pods for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) purposes. The UUVs are expected to autonomously gather high-resolution biogeochemical, hydrographic survey, and passive acoustic data from coastal marine environments. NAVSUP plans to issue a single award, firm fixed price contract, with delivery of the JaiaBot platforms anticipated 60 days after the contract announcement.
