U.S. Navy Requests Information for Over-the-Horizon Sensor Development
DEFENSE
The U.S. Navy has issued a request for information (RFI) for the development of an Over-the-Horizon Sensor (OTH-S) to enhance Maritime Domain Awareness and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities.
Responses are due by January 26, as the Program Executive Officer Land Systems seeks to improve detection of adversary surface targets at extended ranges for the Marine Corps' Stand in Force mission. The OTH-S is intended to operate independently of existing national and theater assets in all-weather conditions.
