US Soldiers Conduct CROWS Training Near North Korean Border
DEFENSE
US soldiers from the 84th Ordnance Company trained on the Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) at Story Live Fire Complex, South Korea, on January 28-29, 2026. This training focused on enhancing soldier readiness by allowing troops to fire M249 and M240B weapons from armored vehicles, increasing crew protection by minimizing exposure to enemy fire. The exercise was part of routine training and followed a similar session conducted three months prior.
