The US Space Force is developing a strategy for cislunar operations and lunar missions to enhance space superiority by 2040, with a strategic document anticipated by 2026. General Shawn Bratton highlighted the urgency of accelerating planning in this area, particularly in light of NASA's Artemis program, which aims for a manned lunar landing in 2027.
