The US Army Corps of Engineers has granted a permit for the construction of the Sparrows Point Container Terminal at the Port of Baltimore. This joint venture between Tradepoint Atlantic and Terminal Investments will transform 330 acres of the former Sparrows Point Steel Mill site into a 3,000-linear-foot marine terminal featuring a marginal wharf, ship-to-shore cranes, a container yard, and an intermodal rail yard.
